1) Management Accountant
The main duties of the Management Accountant include responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers, critical review of P&L accounts and weekly bank reconciliations. The post holder will also assist the Financial Accountant by preparing the monthly management accounts and developing financial reports.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience, excellent IT and communication skills and the proven ability to prioritise and work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision. Formal accountancy training is preferable although not essential.

2) Accounts Clerk
The Accounts Clerk will assist our Finance Department with all aspects of purchase ledger processing. Duties include invoice processing, checking supplier statements, following up queries with suppliers and staff and maintaining purchase ledger filing.
The successful candidate will have relevant office experience within a finance office, in addition to an aptitude for figures. Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills are essential, as is the proven ability to prioritise your own workload and work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision. An interest in pursuing a career in finance would be advantageous.

3) PA to the Treasurer
We are looking for an experienced PA to provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Treasurer. The main duties will include management of the Treasurer’s diary, such as arranging meetings and organising events, preparing correspondence and briefs, and liaising with internal Heads of Department and external organisations falling within the Treasurer’s portfolio.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ secretarial experience at a senior level, 65+wpm typing and possess either short hand or a formal qualification in speed writing. Excellent IT, organisation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work calmly yet quickly when under pressure.

4) Part-Time Secretary
A new position has arisen for a secretary to work each afternoon in the Principal Private Secretary’s office. Supporting a PA, the main responsibilities include typing letters, photocopying and logging documents and incoming gifts, together with answering telephone calls and taking effective messages. You will also help to arrange meetings, provide refreshments where required, and undertake any additional general office duties that may be necessary.
To be successful, you must have a minimum 65wpm accurate typing, excellent IT skills, and a minimum of two years’ secretarial and administrative experience. Good organisational skills, with the proven ability to prioritise work and remain calm under pressure, are essential.

5) Personal Assistant to the Deputy Private Secretary
We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to work alongside the Deputy Private Secretary who is on secondment from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The position will involve providing high level secretarial support for a portfolio that includes The Prince of Wales’s interests abroad, the Commonwealth, faith issues as well as organising Their Royal Highnesses overseas tours (this will include travelling).
The successful applicant will have proven experience of working at a senior level, excellent organisational and communication skills, and be used to dealing with a broad spectrum of people, with tact, discretion and common sense. Teamwork, flexibility, commitment and stamina are essential for this role, and shorthand would be advantageous.

6) Part-time Receptionist and Assistant to the Records Manager
The post holder will be responsible for greeting and making comfortable all visitors to the second reception area. In addition, they will provide on-going assistance to the Records Management Department, particularly in the form of weeding archive files and performing general office duties as necessary. The post holder will cover the main reception in Clarence House when required.
The successful candidate will be flexible and self motivated, with good organisation and communication skills. You will be used to working in a careful and methodical way to a very high standard. Previous experience of working in a records management environment would be an advantage. Applicants may apply to work either two or three days a week.

As part of a team of four in this very busy office, the Office Orderly is required to carry out general office duties, driving and associated duties, and to assist at events. You will have at least two years’ relevant experience of implementing office systems, driving and couriering, be used to working as a part of a team, be highly discreet, flexible, and able to use your own initiative with a ‘can do’ approach. You must be able to lift and carry and be able to work under pressure. Ideally you will have an advanced driving qualification and a licence to drive a motorcycle. A Services background would be an advantage but is not essential.
